Metrics Champion Consortium Partners with Clinical Pathways to Develop On-Demand eLearning Programs

Friday, April 8, 2016

Metrics Champion Consortium (MCC) has teamed up with Clinical Pathways to develop state-of-the-art, on-demand courses to help organizations and professionals gain expertise in the design and application of performance metrics.  The first course entitled, MCC Ambassador Network Boot Camp, is now available to industry consultants interested in qualifying for the new MCC Ambassador Network–-a database of consultants with functional area expertise and performance metric knowledge. Sandra “SAM” Sather, Vice President of Clinical Pathways is the first consultant to complete the qualification requirements and is listed as a MCC Ambassador in the searchable consultant database being launched by MCC. Additional information about the MCC Ambassador Network can be found at http://metricschampion.org/ambassador-network-database/

“ We are very excited to work more closely with MCC! I have followed MCC’s evolution over the last 10 years and continue to be very impressed. Initially I referred clients to MCC for better insight into smart metrics and the establishment of metrics that matter. Now even more so, I refer clients to MCC to ensure better clinical quality systems that include smarter metrics that support new ways of overseeing clinical trials through risk-based approaches. With this comes the need to challenge what we have measured in the past and integrate metrics that support what matters most: human subject protection, data quality, and cost containment/efficient processes. Thanks MCC!” said Sandra SAM Sather, Vice-President of Clinical Pathways, LLC, a clinical research consulting team out of the Research Triangle Park area of North Carolina.

“We selected Clinical Pathways because of Sam’s extensive knowledge about clinical trial planning and execution, and her training expertise gained through developing customized training programs for industry sponsors”, said Linda Sullivan, Co-Founder and President of MCC. “Their eLearning platform provides us the flexibility to easily update and customize our portfolio of new performance metrics, risk management and data visualization courses in order to meet the growing needs of our customers.  Additionally, organizations will be able to deploy courses on their in-house learning management systems, if desired.”

The new MCC risk and performance metric eLearning courses will be available to industry professionals later this year. Stay tuned for news and updates coming in the following months!
