MCC Article Looks at Data Entry Timeliness and Opportunities for Faster Site Payments

Wednesday, October 4, 2017

MCC’s latest article, “Aligning Data Entry and Site Payment Incentives For the Good of Clinical Trials and Patients,” published by Applied Clinical Trials looks at two recent MCC publications, Clinical Trial Site Data Entry Study, and Clinical Site Payment Study. Both reports indicate that, in general, organizations do not have an effective way of tracking and managing the timeliness of data entry or the timeliness of site payments. MCC has identified opportunities to align incentives in the industry so that both sites and Sponsors can achieve their goals with positive impact on clinical trials and patients.

Now Open: MCC’s Central Lab Performance Metrics Survey

MCC needs your help reviewing the Central Lab Performance Metrics v2.1 descriptions, which were released in July 2014. We are looking for enhancement suggestions that will serve as reference guidelines for a formal working group that will decide upon any changes to the metrics.

Metrics will be presented in three sets; metrics related to establishing and maintaining a relationship with a Central Lab, metrics related to conducting sample collections and reviews, and exploratory metrics. All survey responses will remain confidential. Thank you for taking the time to provide us with your feedback.
